UAV-based photogrammetry: monitoring of a building zone
The use of small-size unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for civil applications in many different fields such as archaeology, disaster monitoring, aerial surveying or mapping has significantly increased in recent years. The high flexibility and the low cost per acquired information compared to classical systems – terrestrial or aerial – offer a high variety of different applications. This paper add...
متن کاملGrTP: Transformation Based Graphical Tool Building Platform
In this paper we introduce a novel wide-profile graphical tool-building platform GrTP which is based on the principle of separating semantic domain model processing and user interface components. This principle is enabled in GrTP by a meta-model for visual information presentation (“interface meta-model”). A novel feature of GrTP is that it consistently bases all work of connecting the domain a...
متن کاملUAV-Based Oblique Photogrammetry for Outdoor Data Acquisition and Offsite Visual Inspection of Transmission Line
Regular inspection of transmission lines is an essential work, which has been implemented by either labor intensive or very expensive approaches. 3D reconstruction could be an alternative solution to satisfy the need for accurate and low cost inspection. This paper exploits the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for outdoor data acquisition and conducts accuracy assessment tests to explore...
متن کاملUAV Low Altitude Photogrammetry for Power Line Inspection
When the distance between an obstacle and a power line is less than the discharge distance, a discharge arc can be generated, resulting in the interruption of power supplies. Therefore, regular safety inspections are necessary to ensure the safe operation of power grids. Tall vegetation and buildings are the key factors threatening the safe operation of extra high voltage transmission lines wit...
متن کاملAn Exploration of System Architecture on Integrating Building Management System in High-Rise Building
High-rise building is bloomed into market with a series of evolved requirements. Recently, it is of great interest to adopt the Integrating Building Management System (IBMS) in high-rise buildings. However, the current IBMS architecture solution is far from the satisfaction of performance in integrating level. In the past decade, various system integrations and collaboration technologies have b...
